Honeywell Integration broken with 2023.2

Not sure what’s up, but I just updated to 2023.2 and my Honeywell thermostats are now broken. I confirmed that the website portal and TCC app are both working so it’s something on this end.

I tried deleting the integration and re-installing and got this error:

Config flow could not be loaded: {"message":"Invalid handler specified"}

I can confirm. It appears I can no longer change the temperature.

Other functions seem to be working.

OK. I had to uninstall the integration, remove the components from the custom folder, restart HA and then I was able to re-install. Working fine now.

Are you using the built-in integration? I’m just confused by your mention of removing things from the custom folder.

Yes, it’s the built in integration but I had a folder leftover from when it was a custom component and apparently something in there was conflicting (probably on the Python side) and it wouldn’t work until the related items in the custom components were deleted.

Oh perfect! Your post had me holding off on the upgrade, but I’ve never had any version but the core integration on my install. Thanks!

I am running 2023.5 and I have been losing connection and its “Not Available” on the dashboard. I go into integrations and have to re-enter my password. This happens every few days. Not sure what the issue is.

Not sure it’s related but they had scheduled server maintenance late yesterday into this morning. (EST) I believe it was only supposed to last a ~4 hours but things didn’t go as planned I think.

Thanks for the info RJ. I will keep an eye out for stability. I am still not 100% about continuing with HA. Sort of testing my small set set of devices to see how they play.

I am having the same issues

This issue still plagues me. After some reading, it may be too many API calls. This does make sense but I am not sure how and/or where to modify the number of API call by the Honeywell TTC integration.

Can anyone please direct me on how to change this? Thank you.

I have a lot of issues also.

I get these too but everything works ok - the integration is recovering, the thermostats are online, and I am not seeing the thermostats go unavailable. I would like the integration to be more robust and not get all these errors in the log file but the person who maintains the integration claims the Honeywell API is the issue.

I use to have all same errors as you guys, but some how, the needs to put passwords once a day just went away! And now, that one also started showing up!

Honeywell will perform a system maintenance today or tomorrow, maybe they will fix it!
