For anyone who encounters this problem. Here is how I solved it.

I bought a Tuya ZigBee Hub and added it to the Tuya app. I then added the blind motor as a sub device. From the Tuya app I was able to set the upper and lower limits.

After this I unplugged the Tuya ZigBee Hub and repaired the blind motor with HA.

Now all works well.
