I tried it without the device_tracker portion as well. Although I get no notification errors, I still do not see anything on the overview menu.
Looks like I’m supposed to be using port 8883 with MQTT. After changing to this port and reconfiguring my forwarding in my router, I get an error “idle NSPOSIXError Domain 61…”
Weird, I changed the port back to 1883, now the status is connected.
I see a Map menu on the left now and can see it’s working! Success!
Now to figure out how to install the recorder part.
