How do I make sure that the relay in a switch doesn't toggle when its rebooting?

I have a power plug (Blitzwolf BW-SHP6) that I’ve programmed with ESPHome.
It’s mounted on my UPS to measure the power used by the server center.
The problem is that when it’s being updated, and the plug reboots, the relay clicks off/on, sometimes it triggers the shutdown sequence, and thus the router and home assistant shuts down.
Is there a way to make it not ‘flicker’ when rebooting?
