This tutorial is for linux, but I was hoping to do this on Windows.
I purchased a UZB1.
Thanks
Hi scottocs,
Did you manage to set it up for your UZB1? I purchased the same stick and I was checking on how to set it up
Thanks
I don’t think Open-Zwave works on Windows, but the UZB1 does work on linux. You can either use a Raspberry Pi running Raspbian or what I started with was using Virtualbox with the latest version of Debian. Virtualbox let’s you run a virtual linux within Windows. That was really good for me because I could take snapshots along the way and if I messed up, I would restore a snapshot.
I would recommend the all in one installer. https://home-assistant.io/getting-started/installation-raspberry-pi-all-in-one/
Thanks for your reply. I will try to set it up on the raspberry I have laying around and see if that works.
