How the smart switches relays works?

Hi!

I’m little newbie here and trying understand how the all these things works… so my question are the following.
As for now i want to add to my home switches smth like Dual Relay Module T2 - to connect to my 2 gang switch in bathroom - one of them for light and another for fan. - so in standard mode it must acts like normal switch - turn on and off light or fan when button is pressed to on or off position. does the any Automation required in HA for it or this is default behavior regardless of zigbee network is up or down?

  • adding some smart features like “turn off it after 15 minutes if not turned off by gang” - looks simple - just add delay automation and HA will turn off it after 15 minutes. Physical switch stays in on position. if i will put it in off position - what happens? does the light/fan stays off or it acts like a trigger?
  • adding smth like turn off delay - making automation in HA for it - like “if gang turned off, stay on and then make delay and only after this turn off” - what happens in this case? fan/light will be turned off and after this HA will do the work and turns on this back? or switch will wait until automation finishes? and again what happens if HA is not working?

In common - the question is how the phiscal gang acts togerher with HA

sorry for stupid question.

Regards

What I get from that screenshot (ZHA) and this docu is, that there is a possible setting where you disconnect the button from the relay function, but I dont know if this can be seen in home assistant as a seperate entity (probably not).
My thoughts are that it is always good to have a physical control option, but for the fan you can detatch the relay and get a minimum running time.

Check the docs and reviews for the device.
