Yes! I’ve used this integration with the mentioned system and it seems to be working fine for my purposes. Only downside is that the temperature sensor quickly heats up in the device itself (thereby not giving a reliable temperature read of the room), but that’s not on the integration.
I just had my Mitsubishi AC SRK50ZS-W installed and I’m going to try this solution for my HA integration. Glad I found this thread.
The ZS-W does not have build in wifi. The standard WF-RAC integration will not work for you, since it needs the WF-RAC wifi adapter.
If you just want to control it with home assisant I would directly go with ClimaControl by ProtoART. It’s a cheaper solution with more options, local control and no cloud.
You’ll need an external sensor to solve the temperature issue.
I might be wrong with the exact model I have installed but it does have a build in Wifi and an option for cloud control. Guess I have to double check the exact model number then.
Edit:
After googling a bit, it must be a SRK50ZS-WF model. The manual just wrote without the “F” which seems to stand for the Wifi included models.
Integration in HA with the repo from jeatheak worked like a charm.
I know, we’ve installed one As I said, it’s not on the system itself.
