This is in integrations, ESPHome and configure for each media player device.
Will see if it resolves the problem of unavailable media players not working until a restart of MA. After 24hrs it hasn’t been a problem so I have not needed to restart the MA addon so far.
Update: no difference made with this change, had to restart MA today for it to work on the device that was off overnight.
Latest update: Music Assistant beta 2.40b28 or greater may help with the issue of MA forgetting or not seeing a media player if powered off for a prolonged period. Using beta versions are at your own risk due to beta being a test bed for fixes, so you may be more comfortable waiting for the fixes to find it’s way to the stable release version.

This looks very much like what I want to do. But I’m confused about a few things and have a few other things that I’d like to add that I see as improvements. To avoid making this post too complicated, I’ll just post the two initial issues. I’ll have to think about how to word the others in a way that make sense.
- If and when I add new radio stations within Music Assistant (or remove ones I no longer want on the list), I’d LOVE to have the variables needed for this automation to automatically update. I’ve always hated the idea of storing the same data in two different locations and having to keep them both updated to match. Is that possible?
- When I hard coded the automation to play a specific station on a specific media player, this is what it looked like. This looks like it’ll take a lot more variables that any of the examples I’ve seen above. Things like thumbnail, content id etc.
