I’m way ahead of you on all this. Been reviewing the remote.py and related files for days. But reading other peoples’ code is a slog at best for me. And I don’t understand any of the advanced coding concepts used there.
The whole point of the filters is to assure all that is being captured. It’s not going to eliminate anything needed.
I’ve been through this document several times with a fine-toothed comb.
