HUSBZB-1 not recognized as a Z-WAVE + controller in HA

Hello everyone,

I’m a new user of Home Assistant so please don’t be rude
I just bought the Nortek USB Z-wave & Zigbee adapter (HUSBZB-1) form amazon.
When I look into the device info, it is not recognized as a Z-WAVE plus controller but on amazon and on the quick user guide, it is mention that this is a Z-WAVE plus.

Am I missing something or I am total noob that have ordered the wrong thing ?

My aeotec z-wave stick says it’s non z-wave+ also. But devices I connect through it are, according to the software.

There was just a thread the other day explaining why no sticks show up as zwave+ I will edit this post if I find it again.

The Z-Wave+ property (and others) is derived from information about a node provided after joining the network. A controller being accessed over the USB serial connection doesn’t provide this information. From the HA point of view, there’s nothing special about the serial USB controller, and from the driver API all nodes provide the same properties, it’s just some of these properties are never set for the controller so they default to some value.
