IKEA TRADFRI remote configuration

Hello,

I bought IKEA tradfri smart button and connected it to home assistant and now I want to use it to turn on/off a relays that I normally controll through the UI switch. I downloaded this blueprint:

but I can’t figure out how to set it up to turn the relays. Can anyone suggest a solution, that a beginner like me would be capable doing?

Do you have the shortcut button, or the Styrbar remote that the post you’ve linked to talks about? If the button, try ZHA - IKEA Tradfri Shortcut button debounced

I got the remote, that’s in the blueprint, I can even use it to controll devices, I just don’t know how to set it to controll the relay’s

It might be helpful to edit your title to be more directly related to the thing you’re talking about.

What is your relay? Is it a device in Home Assistant?

Just a normal relay connected to the GPIO pins, I tried to set the automation to call the service switch.turn_on on the desired entity, but it doesn’t work even if I trigger the automation manually.
