INA219 without esphome?

I have a site running HA on a pi, and have a INA219 whacked on the i2c bus, can see it etc.

Question is I do everything using esphome usually,

But in this case, it is all local to the rpi.

How can I add the INA or any I2C devices in that case directly to HA?

If you are running HAOS it is pretty locked down and you may not be able to find the GPIO’s. Not sure. Try a wider search maybe?

I must say, this does lead me to a bit of confusion as to why development has decided to pull official support for the RPI,

Doesn’t the RPI make up like +60% of all installs.

I’ve always thought this was a bit of an “Interesting” move.
