Not sure I understand. I added a Hue motion sensor. Are you saying I can do something to fix this?
Delete the motion rules you created in Phoscon. HA isn’t compatible with them yet, but will be in the next version of HA (according to @Robban), and they are preventing the deconz component in HA from loading properly.
You can replicate the rules in HA via automations anyhow.
0.62 has been released so I’d recommend you upgrading
I have no rules anywhere. I’m not planning on using anything other then HA to do everything.
I’ll give that a shot and report back. Thank you.
Ok - so the 0.62 upgrade for hass.io finally released today. Now the sensors are showing up! Yay!
Continuing onward! I’ll mark this thread as solved and if anything create a new one if I need help going forward.
Thank you @Robban and @marthocoo for your help!
When I try the dpkg command I get an error that no such file or directory exists. Any idea what I need to do to get this?
First you need to download the file. What platform are you on (RaspBerry Pi or PC?).
Thanks for the reply, I did figure that out and used:
$ wget http://www.dresden-elektronik.de/rpi/deconz/beta/deconz-2.05.00-qt5.deb
Was hoping it would allow me to assign scenes to button presses on the Hue dimmer but the assign button remains disabled. I tried the 2.05.05 release as well and still no dice, hopefully soon.
If you use phoscon I think you can create rules like that. Or you do an automation in hass
