Is is somehow possible to install the Home Assistant Companion App on a Fire HD 10 (7th generation) with Fire OS 5.6.6.0?

Yes install the play store first. Xda forum had guides.

Just answered that

The app depends on google play services, if you install the google play store on the fire tablet then you can install the home assistant app on it. I have a fire hd8 with the app store installed on it and the HA app works great!
