Installation on Windows 10 vs Zwave

hi,

yesterday i installed HA on a Windows System (Msi Cube).
Everything works fine.

Today i receive my Aeontec Gen5 Zwave-Stick.
i figure out that it isn`t running under windows.

so what can i do with my setup.

a) install linux (which?) an my system as a new setup
b) run a virtual container with linux (which?) under windows 10

if b) what program do i need to run a virtual instance of linux under windows 10

you mean i can run it under windows without any compromises eg. linux ?

I didn’t say that :slight_smile:
The only that I mean that it’s possible on Windows too.

ok. its to difficult for me to setup.

i will setup virtualbox with a linux distri.

what linux could you recommend ?

are there any problems with virtualbox and hass ?

just figured out that i can run docker natively on windows.

would this be the better way - an will these constellation solve my problems with aeotec gen5 stick ?
