I have Home Assistant Installed on Odroid N2+ and working fine. I am trying to install a WiFi adapter based on mt7601u chip. I have configured SSH to login to the host system on port 22222 and trying to install the driver for the adapter. Apt-get doesn’t seem to work. Is there a way to install packages in HA. I have installed Hassio by burning the image onto a SD card.
If your WiFi device is not recognized by the OS, then you are largely out of luck.
Can’t I install the drivers like I do on Debian? Is HA based on debian or some other variant of linux?
HA OS is based on Buildroot as far as I’m aware.
You’ll likely have to dump hassos and go for Debian and a supervised install
