I’ve got my Insteon FanLinc setup in Home Assistant using the Insteon component. Once that was working I was able to bridge the FanLinc into HomeKit using the HomeKit component. If I control the FanLinc from the Apple Home app then everything works superbly well. But if I trigger the FanLinc on/off with my Insteon 4 scene mini-remote the FanLinc responds accordingly but the status of the accessory in HomeKit does not ever update. I’m using an Insteon 2245 hub. The mini-remote is linked to the FanLinc. How can I get HomeAssistant to also listen in on the traffic between them?
Thanks. I saw that post previously before I posted here myself. The difference between my situation and that is that I only have a 2245 hub. I don’t have a standalone PLM (USB or Serial), so there is no issue of coexistence.
I swapped out the USB hub for an Insteon USB PLM and of course it works now.
