Insteon Hub communication issue

Hello all, I have trouble with my Insteon Hub lately. Home Assistant loses connection every 1-2 days. I have to reboot the Linux server in order to get the communication back. Restarting HA does not fix the issue. Here is the logs

‘2021-04-06 22:01:19 ERROR (MainThread) [pyinsteon.protocol.http_reader_writer] An client error occurred: Cannot connect to host 192.168.2.12:25105 ssl:default [Connect call failed (‘192.168.2.12’, 25105)]’

‘2021-04-06 22:01:19 ERROR (MainThread) [homeassistant.components.insteon] Could not connect to Insteon modem’

Has anyone encountered this issue as well?

It is really annoying that automations are not working every 1-2 days because HA can’t talk to Insteon.

Thank you for your help

So I just got it working again by power cycling my Insteon Hub. Hopefully it’s not starting to fail. I had one fail a few years ago (infamous failed capacitor that I re-soldered and got working again).

I haven’t tried to power cycle the hub, I always reboot my server. Will try it next time. I had a faulty hub once too, it was not powering up anymore. Insteon replaced it out of warranty, really great service. I hope we find a fix for the communication problem other than power cycling the hub! Thank for sharing
