First post, apologies if in wrong catagory.
Installed Core update 2025.1.0 last night, updated from Core 2024.12.5.
My Tp-Link L530B Smart Lamps connected via Tapo utility have stopped working, diagnostic indicators, overheat, signal level etc. still work but the lamp on/off control does not.
Tried deleting/re-loading the smart lamps configuration, no change.
Rolled back the Core update to previous (2024.12.5) problem cured so would appear to be Core update related.
Hello and welcome to the forum.
A couple of places to check for others having the same issue:
-
The release topic: 2025.1: Backing Up into 2025! there is one of these in the forum Blog category for each new release. You can search just the topic using key words like “tapo”. Use the magnifying glass icon at the top of the window and select the “search this topic” option when viewing the blog post. This one is kinda full of new backup discussion.

Known issues on github. You can get there from the integration documentation
https://www.home-assistant.io/integrations/tplink_tapo/
If one does not exist feel free to create a new issue. This is your best chance of getting it fixed.
I installed Update 2025.1.0 and lost all contact with my Victron Energy system. I tried reinstalling the Victron Integration but it still did not work. Please can you either fix this or tell me what I need to do.
I restored my system back to 2024/11/3. System is now running OK.
It also disconnected my Tuya devices which did not return when I restored to the backup. I have reinstalled the Tuya devices on the backup.
Thanks Bernard
I have the same problem. Additionally, I have a go-e charger that no longer works. Zigbee is also not working at all now.
Are you using zigbee2mqtt? I had to rollback after the most recent update of zigbee2mqtt.
I’m using ZHA and stopped work either.
I had to downgrade to make it work again
Same here. With 2025.1.0
Today I tried Version 2025.1.1: Same problem.
Error:
Setup failed for custom integration ‘victron’: Unable to import component: No module named ‘pymodbus.register_read_message’
I had to restore to 2024.12.5.
Any indication of a solution?
