Hi,

How did you resize the EV6 picture?
I used your code and inserted a picture but the size is to big, but even when I resize it it stays this bigā€¦

image

Because of the size not all sensors are visible.

I didnā€™t, I started with the image and moved the items around so they would be visible.
Here, I uploaded my image here, you can take something like paintNet and resize yours to the same size using a layer with 50% opacity or similar. Hope this helps.

Iā€™ve got an EV6 connecting with this.

I had to change my password for the BlueLink but have been unable to find where to update the password in the HA integration. Maybe Iā€™m just having a bad day. Thanks in advance for pointers.

You need to modify config_entries.json file manually, which is very risky and easy to screw.

Other way around, you have to remove the integration and add it back :frowning:

Was afraid of that, remove and add back in, but thatā€™s ok.
Just wanted to be sure I didnā€™t miss an easier way. All good.

Normally you can have multiple accounts or multiple cars with one account but we generate an unique id with email address and car brand, so only way is to either messing up with yaml file or remove/add back

Did my Remove/Re-Install today. Turned out to be rather painless.
A work of caution/Heads upā€¦
If you change the password of your Bluelink.ca account you MUST update the Kia Uvo integration or you will be locked out of your account. The Integration will keep trying to log in, activation Bluelink.caā€™s too many login attempts, ultimately locking your account. May only apply to Bluelink Canada.

are there more people getting this :

kia_uvo integration not ready yet: Config Not Ready: Error communicating with API: strptime()

The integration wonā€™t connect anymore ( version v2.14.2)

Would downgrading solve it?

downgrading to version 2.14.1 seems to solve this issue .

can you please create an issue over github and share the debug logs so we can fix it?

I personally do not have this issue locally so cannot fix it.

Is there a way to get the actual tire pressure instead of OK? Or is it not possible?

Whatever you see on the original app is possible :slightly_smiling_face: the rest is magic :relaxed: I havenā€™t seen actual tire pressure on the app and api response myself, so i would assume not

I am looking for the help of those that use this integration and have a 2023 Kia Sorento (GAS)
I am having/seeing my 12v battery in the integration drop 1% every 2 - 3 hours. It has been to the dealer 3 times and they canā€™t find the cause of the drain on the 12V, battery has been replaced. Battery sensor as well. I donā€™ t see this kind of drop on my wifeā€™s 2023 Sportage 12V system.
I was hoping those that have a sorento could maybe show me your 12v battery graphs (longer history is better) just to have more data.

Hi there

I havenā€™t found a way to trigger valet mode using this integration in Homeassistant. Are there any plans to implement functionality to control the valet mode? Due to recent theft cases of the EV6 in Germany Iā€™d like to automatically activate valet mode using HomeKit and iOS shortcuts when I leave the car.

Hello everyone!

First off, Iā€™d like to express my gratitude for the fantastic integration work and the beautifully designed cards of some of youā€“ theyā€™re truly impressive!

Iā€™m currently exploring the possibility of creating an automation that notifies me to park my car at the charging station when I arrive home. The idea is to have a system that can:

  1. Detect when I arrive at my home.
  2. Check the availability of my default charging spot.
  3. Check the carā€™s battery level, especially if itā€™s under 20%.
  4. Send a notification based on these conditions.

My main concern is avoiding excessive forced updates. Updating when I arrive at home might be too much since I leave and arrive at my home often without using my car. Using the carā€™s location might work, but I would have to call the update endpoint for this too, right?

One idea is to use a tracker in the car, but I am open to suggestions.

Does anyone have any recommendations or best practices they can share? Perhaps thereā€™s a more efficient method or a specific technology that could be helpful in this scenario. Iā€™m looking forward to hearing your insights and learning from your experiences!

Thanks in advance!

Only to make sure: did you check the force refesh configuration of this integration? You should configure it to only once per day as it might drain your 12 volt battery.
