Lets Encrypt issues

Why are you looking at renewing, just try deleting the old certificate and install the new ones?

I am sorry I dont get your point.
I installed DuckDns back then the same way as in the tutorial you linked.
But every year my certificate expires and I need to open port 80 for it to renew.

Deleting the certificate and requesting a new one (which uses port 80 as well I think) is not solving the problem.

Maybe Im missing something?

Assuming that you have the Lets Encrypt Add-on installed, i saw in the documentation that DuckDNS is not listed in the DNS provider for the challenge.

Here is the list of DNS Provders in the documentation, use one of the below in your configuration file and see if the add-on renews teh certificate?

dns-azure
dns-cloudflare
dns-cloudxns
dns-digitalocean
dns-directadmin
dns-dnsimple
dns-dnsmadeeasy
dns-gehirn
dns-google
dns-hetzner
dns-linode
dns-luadns
dns-njalla
dns-nsone
dns-ovh
dns-rfc2136
dns-route53
dns-sakuracloud
dns-netcup

Or use the duckdns addon or something like caddy that does support the dns challenge.
