HAve you made any progress with that?
Anyone can share their iOS notification automation with actionable buttons please?
I just installed an LQ washer/dryer set with ThinQ. Have I missed something in the ThinQ API, or is Power (Watts), or Energy (kWh), not provided? I’m hoping to avoid putting CTs on these two critical circuits.
Also, what is the update frequency of the ThinQ cloud? Were Power to be available it would be nice to know the update frequency / and lag time. Sankey plots are very sensitive to concurrency of data streams.
Very new to here, but am I missing something, because when I try to add new integration for my LG washer the HA only gives me option to choose LG smart TVs? There’s no ThinQ Smart sensors.
I use this one and it works fine for my LG washer and dryer.
Heh, thanks. Of course I should have install HACS first
There are some activity in github from LG officials, its seems that lg thinq is now on the way as a supported appication: Add binary_sensor platform to LG ThinQ integration by LG-ThinQ-Integration · Pull Request #125664 · home-assistant/core · GitHub
Interesting! Good find. Lets keep an eye on this and anyone that jumps over to the core integration, please keep the group here posted.
Fantastic integration. Wondering what resets the Dryer Run Completed sensor as I’m using it as a visual indicator for the kiddo. Seems that with the diswasher and the washing machine opening and then closing the door resets the sensor. Not so with the dryer (at least for me).
Trying the core integration - zero success (I have an LG Washing machine successfully working in the LG ThinQ app).
When I add the integration it tells me I need a Personal Access Token, and sends me to https://connect-pat.lgthinq.com/. I select the correct region for me (Australia), and it displays a QR code to read in the LG ThinQ mobile app. That QR code is never successfully read (“Failed to read the QR”) and so the whole process fails.
Without ability to get a PAT, the integration cannot be setup.
I’ve had some more goes at https://connect-pat.lgthinq.com/
It offers a login OR a QR code login.
If I use the normal email/password login, I get to a page offering to Add New Token:
Clicking on ADD briefly goes to a page (fraction of a second, so cannot see what is on it), and then redirects back to the original login page.
If I select QR code login, then the LG ThinQ app fails to read the code.
OK, looks like there is a current issue:
Closing as implemented.
