It would be nice if time-based lighting could be setup and managed via a spreadsheet or Matrix on a single page. Vertical column could be times which could be inserted as needed and horizontal be individual lighting (entities), groups, or even possibly areas. When we use individual Automations, it quickly becomes confusing as to what is controlled where, and difficult to manage.

It doesn’t do exactly what you want, but you might want to look into using input_timetable to simplify your automations. Unfortunately, the pull request hasn’t been merged yet, so you’ll need to add it as a custom component. And if you feel like you have the required skills, please review the PR to help to get it merged.
