HA app location tracking as a standalone app & add-on - replace Life360?

With Life360 seemingly EOL with Home Assistant, a simple to use replacement would be great. Would it be possible for the HA App location tracking functions to be made available as an standalone add-on or integration for those of us who do not use the HA app? Something that just works OOTB and doesn’t require webhooks or ports being opened would be fantastic.

This Feature Request exist already and I think is same/similar as your #2…
