Mac2mqtt — control volume on macOS via MQTT

What do you think about the ability to run any command? You just publish command to some mqtt topic and it is executed on the mac? Will you use it? Or do you want the ability to explicitly specified the list of allowed commands?

Super cool…looks like @pjv has done the business? Could be used for sending notifications from Home Assistant to Macs, like

I’ve never written any go code before but I hacked the mac2mqtt source and added the ability to run my wake up applescript into it.

I thought this was a cool program, but since it is unmaintained I forked it and created this repo with better documentation, and more features, such as macOS shortcuts, and it doesn’t crash if you don’t have a battery.
