Noted it’s no longer compatible with 7.2024 due to Home Assistant not using the upstream library at this time.
Was nice to have it working the last month or so after the API change in January. Now it’s gone again and would be great to have it back!
Hang on to what you have. Aladdin was pulled due to a licensing issue, and the chances are good that it will be back soon. There is no technical problem with the integration.

should there be a news post or an integration post somewhere? I was searching for a while because their original post said to upgrade to 2024.6 or later: Aladdin Connect integration requires Home Assistant 2024.6 or later | Home Assistant Alerts
Seems like that page should get updated if it was indeed pulled in 2024.7?

For anyone that used this feature, you can install the Homebridge Add-on and get it working with that. That is the solution I was pointed to and it has worked flawlessly since GitHub - davide125/hassio-addons: Personal repository for Home Assistant add-ons

No, there was no need to have additional hardware over what I already had at my house. I learned about using it in this thread Aladdin API changing - #18 by jsmith
I don’t have any hardware that supports this add-on. Maybe I’ll add this to my synergy and?
Really? All it took was Aladdin and wifi (since Aladdin uses my wifi network to connect to their servers). Homebridge does the bridging over your network via IP to bridge it into HA. Then I can control my garages just like I used to as covers with the old setup. Would be great it we could make off network but we still rely on their servers and API.

So all I need to do is add the home bridge add on? I added the add-on link and for some reason it didn’t add the home bridge as an option. I’ll try again later tonight.
Yes, install Homebridge, and whatever the config process is for that. Then go to the WebUI for Homebridge. You need to install the Homebridge Genie Aladdin Connect Plugin.
And then put the config details in. It has been several months since I set this up so I not fully recalling the setup process but it has been working for me rock solid!
My doors show up as accessories within Homebridge.
Then from there that makes them visible within HA.
