Making a tmall genie driver 2.4g smart

Hi all,

I have a lamp with the below LED driver with a 2.4g remote. Does anyone know how to

a) integrate this driver into home assistant (potentially with the use of additional hardware) or
b) is aware of a LED driver that I could buy and replace the existing one that integrates into home assistant? (Ideally zigbee)

The lamp is a CCT lamp, i.e., dimmable and Color Temperatur changeable

Thanks a ton!

EDIT: Side Info: I downloaded the tmall Genie App. It seems to find the led controller and the lamp also starts to flash when i start the search Modus in the app. Unfortunately connection always fails (cannot upload screenshots due to new user restrictions)

Have you had any luck with this? I recently purchased two ceiling fans with lights for my garage, and they communicate via 2.4g.

I was looking at a D1 Mini but have never done anything close that. But it seems if you pop open the controller that came with the light, you should be able to wire in the D1 Mini – again, never have done this and have no idea how to get started here.

I may found a HACS integration, HASSLife

you may need google translate for easier readability.

I’ve got the account setup and next I need to add devices.

So far no luck on my side. I will have a look into the integration you suggested. In the meantime I also found this integration which might work if the communication to this driver works via Bluetooth.

There is also a tmall-genie bridge but I am lacking skill to try this without documentation: GitHub - daxingplay/tmall-genie-bridge: Home Assistant Bridge for Tmall Genie
