I thought it was the amount and type of current/load that was the important thing though?
My clothes washer works just fine with the Aeotec Smart Switch 6. It peaks at around 9A and 750W which is well within the design limits. Just be sure to get the switch and not the dimmer.
My clothes dryer is a different matter. Someday I plan on getting Aeotec’s Heavy Duty Smart Switch. I’ll probably have an electrician wire that in because I’ll need to relocate some wires to make that work.
