Ya so here is what I did:
- Connect Meross device using Meross app
- Install Meross Lan via HACS
- Assign my Meross device a static IP in my router admin
- Power off/on my device
- In integrations you should see a Meross integration now
- Select the option to fetch an api key from Meross using your login credentials
- Block the network your Meross device is on via firewall rules.
- Uninstall Meross app.
- Go find add the entity to your dashboard and click it
