Messed up upgrading Pi3 to Pi4 - BU lost?!

Hey.
I´ve been following the guide to upgrade from Pi3 to Pi4. I made a full backup in HA but forgot to download it.
Then I made a full copy of the SD card to my desktop and proceeded to install the PI 4 version on the SD card.

When I noticed my f*-up, I reformated the sd card and copied the manual SD-Backup back to the SD card.
When I put it back in my raspi HA starts - I need to login but all my configurations are lost and the BackUp doesnt show up.
Is there any way to retrieve the HA backup I did before?

If you made a copy, the config and backup
Should still exist

hey
yea the config.txt is stimm mine and I can login using my username and PW but everything else is gone, settings, apps, etc…

Is this normal just from copying the SD content to windows and back to SD? Any way I can access the backup that is hidden in there somewhere?

Maybe it is permission issue. Copying files will cause that.

Verify permissions of working files against those of original files. User and group should be checked

EDIT
You may have missed the .storage hidden folder and that contains all the really important stuff besides config. Make sure you copied that over as well

No, I only remembered to make all files visible before I copied stuff. Are the Backups also stored there?
I guess I really really messed up hard :frowning:
I had a lot of stuff in my yaml files that really took me a long time to figure out…
