Hello, dear.I’m Lucia, sales of Hilink. Our module is a sensor module, even if you are stationary state can be detected.

Hello, dear.I’m Lucia, sales of Hilink. You can restore the factory settings through the serial port command. If you have to buy the LD2410B or LD2410C if you can be set through the APP.

Hi
Is there a way to connect the Hi-link 2410 sensor through UART and flash the nodemcu 8266 at the same time.
What I have tried:
1. Using TX & RX pins for both
When tried it the UART is busy working with the sensor and it logs no response from serial while flashing.
2. Using TX & RX for flashing and another digital pins for the sensor
using pins D1, D2 (software serial) to connect the sensor but it couldn’t communicate with the serial, maybe because it can’t handle the high baud rate 256000

No, you need to power off LD2410 during flashing the ESP8266

Fine, but is there a way to do it programmatically or should I physically unconnect the power.
For example, can I send a serial command to power sensor off, just like what we do with resetting

Hello. I have the LD1115H. Can this detect stationary body ? I have tried moving the th1, th2 sliders in all directions , but it always go to clear. The sensor is just a few feet away from me.

The LD2410 does detects stationary bodies.

Hello, dear. I’m Lucia, sales of Hilink. You can choose between ceiling or wall mounting.

Hello, dear.I’m Lucia, sales of Hilink. This is the setting for photosensitivie, you can set your own light sensitivity.

Is there a place where we can have an overview of all your sensors and understand what would be the best one for our application? I’m currently using the LD1125H with great results but just wondering if there’s another one even better.

My only complain from the 1125H so far is the smaller pins and that the header comes pre soldered

Thanks! I’m not seeing any 11XX series in that website tho. What’s your favourite?

Those are the old series, LD2xxx is the next generation

My favourite is the LD2420 because it’s powered by 3.3V and has 2.54 headers

nice! what I like the most about the 1125H is that I can set a max distance for the detection. Is this something you can configure on the 2420? thanks!

BTW I actually got an LD2410 at home too. Reading the website looks like it’s better suited for occupancy/stationary states detection. Still quite confusing the naming because LD2420 seems it should be “better”

what do you mean “better suited”? they’re all presence sensors

Just reading the documentation they say this

HLK-LD2420 is mainly used in indoor scenes to sense whether there is a moving or slightly moving human body

HLK-LD2410… can identify human bodies in motion and stationary states

What I’m understanding from the specs is that the 2420 is less sensitive to stationary bodies, or am I getting it wrong?

I would like to know this as well

Hi Sheed,

Could you please post your config for the LD2420? i get error message “component not found ld2420”

Thanks
Kind Regards

I think i am having a problem with the LD2420 Sensor because not even the tool is connecting. Also, i don’t know what is my firmware number. The tool is partially translated in English so i don’t understand some of the responses.

When i connect the sensor and open the tool, i set the braud too 256000 and try to press connect device but i get this:

Also, when i try to do a firmware check it fails to fetch the firmware most probably because it is not connected to the sensor:

Was anyone able to solve this for this sensor? Again the sensor is the LD2420

Thanks
