I appreciate the encrypted backup function is new, but there is an enhancement I’d like to see:
either: The ability to choose the restore location (outside of HA)
or: The ability to decryption backups outside of HA.
I run HA Container (on a Pi) and used to be able to restore a backup on my Mac in order to recover a single yaml file (often a package or desktop view). I have lost this now the backups are encrypted.
My workaround is to continue using action: backup.create service call as it does not encrypt.
