also had problem to run even official upsmonpro app under windows 10, it does not seen ups device connected to pc, while "usb plug in\out\ sound was played.

while windows 7 worked well. with bulltin windows battery app
research shown me that windows 10 has droped support for UPSes, reasoning “it shows incorect values” wtflol
also removed correct driver, and windows internal battery app
anyway i found work arround, i have copied
hidclass.sys hidparse.sys hidusb.sys input.inf
and other related .sys files of driver from old win7x64( x64 it matters!) instalation where ups have been working before
to win 10 (where the files was diferent size) and forcefully installed it to ups device (also had to disable god damn driver signature check)
and it worked. now official upsmon app can read ups data
