Hi Klogg i hate to be a pain but everything seems to be working fine except the mini graph card area for high temperature, i have done all the requirements listed, with the change of
entity: sensor.dark_sky_forecast_daytime_high_temperature_0d
to -
entity: sensor.dark_sky_daytime_high_temperature_0d
and the sensor.dark_sky_minutely_summary change as well.
i believe i have the dark sky loaded correctly as it states "weather outlook - overcast for the hour but no graph card display.
i’ve notice in the temperature graph yaml there is a line -
entity: sensor.dark_sky_current_temperature, where is this taken from with dark sky as i have no entity with that name listed to pull from ? my monitored conditions below…
I was never happy using multiple-entity-row because the pop up to edit settings was inconsistent. If you clicked the state you got the pop up as I designed it but if you clicked the name you got the HA system style pop up.
Also I couldn’t restrict the number of decimal places.
What hardware are you using for the popup sprinklers on the lawns please? I looked at the eZyvalve™4 but it looks as if it doesn’t provide that must water pressure to work on anything but a mirco irrigation?
I got the UI right… I had to restart HA… a reload/check configuration wasn’t enough.
Can the CSS file be downloaded and stored locally rather than fetching from google everytime? Could be an improvement? what are people thoughts on this?
Hi klogg in the garden_weather_temperature.yaml i notice the dark sky entity is set too current, is this correct or should it be sensor.dark_sky_temperature for those fields.
And one more change in the section_settings_temperature.yaml i can see, which needs to be sensor.dark_sky_daytime_high_temperature_0d, plus there was one of these in the garden_weather_temperature.yaml that needed to be changed as well, i just keep spotting them, hope this is ok pointing it out, it’s all a new curve for me but i think i’m getting there.
Thank you @klogg for this great project. I used version 1 last year and it worked phenomenal. Version 2 has grown in functionality with beautiful UI. Just wanted to thank you for your hard work.
@klogg I am using your ver.1 with some light modifications (using own meteo station) for a long time. Thank you for your excellent work. As I am quite happy with it I´ve decided to upgrade to ver.2.
I run Hassio 110.1.
Technically I dis copy/paste I disabled all related to SmartWeather - replaced by precipitation data from my house station and its history. Next step would be to replace dark_sky by a local temperature and its history.
I have installed all custom integrations as described.
I believe that prerequisites are fullfilled, dark_sky changes as well.
Nonetheless I see only this on UI:
It looks like lovelace goes to garden/cycles/page_cycles.yaml and shows dividers only There are no errors or warnings in the log and I am not able to detect what is wrong.
Have you ever met the same issue?
Any advice will be great?
Update
There are yaml files in Templates and even view_garden_version2.yaml with errors
Hi,
First of all I have no idea if it makes any difference but I am still on v109 of HA.
As for the ‘bad indentations’ I am not sure why you get those errors. Are you sure there have not been any errors introduced while copying the files to your config?
I don’t recognise that error page either, are you using yaml mode? I would guess it should also work perfectly well if set up through the UI but I don’t do it that way.
Perhaps you could post one of the files that gives you an error?
bad indentation of a mapping entry at line 47, column 28:
- cycle: 1
^
There are a lot of files with exclamation mark.
As I am digging deeper, it is not only bad indentation but other errors too.
I am sure that errors are not introduced during copying.
List of files is here
