Hi,
I have just acquired and installed a Netatmo personal weather station. I already had a Netatmo integration for my Presence cameras, working well.
After a couple of reboots, all (I guess) sensors for the indoor and outdoor devices were created and reporting fine.
But no trace of the weather
entity (and log in debug mode for weather components is silent).
Is it planned to be included? It would be great to benefit from one’s own personal forecasts from one’s own personal weather station.
@cgtobi maybe?
Thanks!
There is no weather entity for Netatmo. There were sensors for the public weather data by Netatmo but that is not what you mean, right?
Indeed, this is not what I mean. The related Netatmo Android app provides forecasts for coming days and I thought there would be an actual weather
entity with these forecasts, to display in a weather-forecast
type card, same as Buienradar or Dark Sky, etc. (I was a bit misled by the fact that Netatmo also appears in the ‘Weather’ category in the Integrations’ list).
I had a quick look here: https://dev.netatmo.com/apidocumentation/weather, it seems forecast data are just not exposed
I have contacted them for confirmation (l’espoir fait vivre).
Well, unless they change their mind, it seems unlikely: https://forum.netatmo.com/viewtopic.php?f=5&t=4630&p=23058&hilit=forecast#p23058
They buy the forecast data from a provider, so I guess the alternative integrations already available are probably as accurate anyway.
Confirmed:

Hi Frederic,
We don’t display forecast data because we use an API of a partner
My advice : try to find an API of any weather forecast provider and integrate itHave a good day,
