New banner on the forum

is an excellent improvement to the forum.

But is there any way it could be removed on a per user basis? I know there are ‘badges’, is there one for posting with formatted code? If so if you have that badge, don’t show the banner.

It is just a thought, the banner does take up quite a lot of screen real estate.

This got implemented in April when we added a banner topic. I just removed the banner topic though because now we have a popup when you submit a post and it looks like you pasted code/logs in.
