New “sensor” types for homekit bridge

@bdraco please,
can you add support for “sensor” types for homekit bridge?
This two types we need from Shelly UNI device https://www.shelly.com/en-sk/products/product-overview/shelly-uni :

  • “device_class: voltage” with “unit_of_measurement: V” (Volts)
    and
  • “device_class: volume” with “unit_of_measurement: L” (Litres)

Thanks.

I’ll always upvote requests to add more native HomeKit types to Home Assistant! Don’t forget to upvote your own request @letun!

Why would you integrate a Shelly uni via anything other than the Shelly integration?

HomeKit is easy. But it will never be as full featured as native APIs. e.g. Lifx lights connect via homekit or the Lifx integration. The Homekit setup is way easier. However it does not support some nice features like being able to change the light state while it is off (so it comes on with the values you want).

I get that, but Shelly is hardly rocket science.

Also please don’t tag people like that. It comes across as very demanding and rude. Have a read of the FAQ: How to help us help you - or How to ask a good question

Point 16 in particular.
