This is great, but I just need to figure out how to configure it to show the bonus time and play time limit in the entities card as relative time, not absolute clock time. Even showing just those settings as a 24H clock without the AM/PM (and with “midnight” being 0h) would be an improvement.
You don’t have to click on the button “Use this account”. You have to copy the link behind this button. So right click the button and choose “copy link” (depends on your browser). Paste this Link in the config window.
This has been reported previously, currently Home Assistant doesn’t support duration type times, only absolute. If you have your instance configured in 12hr rather than 24hr it will show with AM/PM (Show correct data for Play Time Limit · Issue #59 · pantherale0/ha-nintendoparentalcontrols · GitHub)
Stumbled across this plugin today - love it.
Can’t work out what ‘Bonus time’ is tho. Doesn’t appear to do anything other than increase.
Also, the extra options has 2 numbers?
Anyone know what they are? Guessing one is a refresh interval???
Bonus time is an experimental feature that replicates the functionality of bonus time in family link, although you should probably use automations and scripts instead to achieve this.
The two numbers in the config flows are for refresh interval and timeout. Don’t set the refresh too low otherwise Nintendo might start rate limiting (or worse) and/or the updater can constantly timeout.
