No detection of new mqtt devices

So, after a long research, it is probably the state of affairs that the devices and entities no longer appear in the MQTT administration.
Thanks to a tip from a Youtuber, I came across the MQTT Explorer (also for Linux).
With that I can now wonderfully see all incoming signals, devices, entities, etc.
It’s a pity that it doesn’t work via the MQTT integration interface like it used to.

Home assistant discovery still works.

Depends on what you mean by that.
I personally understand “automatic recognition” to mean that the devices are then presented to me with their identities on the silver tablet and I don’t need any external programs or help, let alone have to enter them manually.
As I said, I’ve had two complete new installations now and each time it was the same and other users also have the “problem”… well, it’s a problem for me

Are your MQTT devices sending discovery information.
Using the mqtt explorer, can you see under #homeassistant part any entries, if not your devices are not registering their discovery information, hence it won be listed.

Man he had already been asked that at least twice but refuses to answer.

Yes Adrian, thanks, that’s how I understand it too and yes there all devices and entities are listed, as I wrote above, ready for further processing.
@nickrout … You present me with input codes that don’t work, at least for me, and then NOTHING!
Sorry if I’m not up to your level and I’m bothering you with my problem! The problem is really annoying, plus technical terms where my English isn’t good enough… um yeah… works .-/

One can regard the problem as solved, it seems to be the state of affairs.
Thanks!

so in mqtt explorer under the homeassistant there are entries, if so is your discovery topic in the mqtt broker set to homeassistant or have you changed it at all (looking at screenshot and earlier post you mentioned you changed something to ha/status

can you post screenshot of your mqtt explorer with homeassistat topic expanded

do you think so?

Again- Do you have discovery: true in your configuration?
Your screenshot says otherwise.

Post your configuration.yaml file

I know you’ve already posted that you have it in your config.
Some on Youtube have something in it, some don’t and the help page only describes something about “exceptions”.
But isn’t the appearance of MQTT devices an exception?

In the configuration.yaml I don’t have an MQTT configuration.
Had them in there to test, after the problem, but didn’t change anything. I don’t have a MQTT.yaml file either… I didn’t see any devices until yesterday :-))

I have already told you that you do not configure the mqtt integration in configuration.yamk. ignore @stevemann he is wrong.

This is why I want to see the configuration.yaml. To see if he did configure MQTT there.
