I have this issue with a Bosch Twinguard. Never changed any units or such things. This isn’t yet possible for me because it’s a “closed integration” (from a user’s point of view). But there were some changes in this integration as far as I can remember. I also read about unit changes in some updates (not sure if this had hit the Bosch integration). So if a unit change may lead to a permanent hinstory break this is a serious problem in Home Assistant that, in deed, should be addressed.
