NUC install: HA OS image vs. Proxmox vs. HA Supervised on Debian

It’s not a waste of a NUC if you use something like the MotionEye add-on for CCTV recording. Then you get into territory that a RPi simply can’t handle.

You just join the dev channel. Have to do it via ssh.

In a Proxmox setup, what do you typically have on the other VM’s alongside HA? do you run other OS beside?

I have a homeassistant vm, a networking vm (unifi controller, reverse proxy, dns etc) and a hosting vm (nextcloud, kiwix (offline wiki reader) etc) here.

Old thread but still relevant for me. At the moment I have HA OS running as a VM under Proxmox and I’m thinking about installing HA OS directly on a NUC. All other virtual machines I currently have running are available as (community) addons.
Currently they are:
AdGuard Home
InfluxDB
Grafana
Vaultwarden
Apart from the possibility of taking snapshots, I currently see no reason to stay with Proxmox.
