Just released 3.2.0 which allows backing up you timestamped photos to an S3 bucket:
Is it possible to crop/zoom on the face when there’s 1 person on the capture, for the export file?
Hi all
I have been working on a complementary rekognition integration, for detecting text/numbers in images. The use case is for scraping data from digital and mechanical displays such as power meters and LCD displays. If there is interest in this I will create a separate thread for it
@robmarkcole Is it possible to save every recognized face(close) to a separate file? Like the option in your Deepstack intergration?
Anything is possible if someone wants to create a pull request
@clownnl rereading your comment, is this the correct integration? Rekognition integration currently does not do faces
@robmarkcole is it possible that something has changed in Amazon cause suddenly I start to get errrors like:
Error on receive image from entity: Unable to get image
when firing image_processing.scan… It was working without any problems before…
That sounds like a more upstream image - from camera or HA.
Personally all my cameras stopped working due to dodgy internet!
Thanks for this integration, really easy to setup and use, plus it seems more accurate than google vision and lot faster than doods.
I have one problem though which may well be human error on my behalf. I have configured it to save a time stamped file, it saves a file however the file name is always what appears to be 6 random characters with a ~ and then another random character such as this “RUMQZR~E.PNG”.
Any chance you could point me in the right direction please?
Hello in HS 2021.12 I get this in log:
2021-12-15 08:40:36 WARNING (MainThread) [homeassistant.helpers.entity] Entity image_processing.rekognition_XXX (<class 'custom_components.amazon_rekognition.image_processing.ObjectDetection'>) implements device_state_attributes. Please report it to the custom component author.
hi! there is a way to save to a specific file name? there is an issue with sending image in ha that send a “cached” image. The idea is to save to a speficic name to change to avoid this
