I have the same Problem with 2 equal cameras.
The solution with overwriting the unique_id do not was successfully. I got a second onvif camera but with missing entitis.
Are there any other solution? Why is this not fixed since 4 years???

Hi there,
I have the same problem with 3 Imou Ranger.
A year ago I follow the procedure to change the unique ID in the core.config_entries, but now when I reload HA the file come back to the initial configuration and I am unable to add a new camera.
Any help for me?
thanks a lot
Tired of your cameras playing dumb and refusing to show their unique_id? They lie to Home Assistant, make the UI gray out, and generally cause chaos.
After years of frustration (and a little bit of coding rage), I developed the ultimate âcamera spankingâ tool: a patch that forces those stubborn IMOU and generic ONVIF devices to behave!
