Can I have more information about these parameters ?
I was wandering if they have something to do with the following problem I face.
My heater (Radiant RK1 100) is made of two heaters.
Let’s call them heater A and heater B.
When both of them are running or when heater A is running I receive the return temperature and the modulation level correctly.
When only the heater B is running I do not receive the modulation level ( I read 0.0%) and I receive the return temperature of heater A (much lower then the one I read on the heater on board display).
Can you please help me ?
Thanks, that was obvious, the complete answer that works for me is : Enter an URL (IP address did not work) in the (HA) MQTT external url, and use that in the OTgateway MQTTsetting.
Working, and further testing
@lucapretti try adding a sensor with Purpose = Temperature and these Type/source:
OpenTherm, DHW, temperature 2
OpenTherm, channel 2, temp
OpenTherm, heat exchanger temp
OpenTherm, solar storage temp
OpenTherm, solar collector temp
Hypothetically, if “heater B” is the second channel, then its temperature could be in OpenTherm, channel 2, temp. But it could be the temperature of the heat exchanger “heater B”, not the return temperature.
I try ti use PID control, i set 19celsius indoor. Isteresis 0.4
The heating start and temperature reach 19.4 then heating stop and temperature drop to 18.6 now heating restart. This Is not modulation.
Another questione in home assistant Is not possibile to set PID parameter.
