FWIW, here’s an easy workaround:

So actually, there is a much better way to do this. That is, using a python_script as opposed to “regular” scripts. First, add the following line to your configuration.yaml file (if you don’t already have it): python_script: Then create a directory in your <config> directory (i.e., the directory that contains configuration.yaml) named python_scripts. However, if it’s only a few lines of Python surely it could be written into HA which is written in Python
