Overkiz API and Somfy API

Hi Tetienne,

What do you mean by creating my own app?
I have created a developer account and in hassio the configuration is adapted.
Only when I use the integrations somfy solution the site isn’t responding.
My home assistent is redirected with duckdns?

Sorry, I will rephrase: instead of using your developer account, use the HA cloud one. Remove the Somfy integration, and add it again. You should see two options: cloud and configuration.yaml. Select cloud.

Hi Etienne,
thank you upfront for your long and continued involvement in this area.
Like @pauldirkson I am too trying to integrate my Connexoon and Somfy blinds to HA.

I have access via DuckDns but recently moved to nabu casa.

I have also added the Somfy integration via HA (version 1.13, latest) but I see no devices listed under that integration (“This integration has no devices”). I am out of ideas and attempts so I have these specific questions for you - and the wider contributors to this thread. Your help is much appreciated!..

  1. Does Somfy now support these APIs in Australia/Oceania region?
I remember @ozczecho had a negative response from Somfy a while ago… but I am hoping that recent developments may have fixed that,

  2. If the answer to Q1 is yes, do we still need an app created at developer.somfy.com?

  3. If the answer to Q2 is yes, should we use the duckdns http (or https) address OR the nabu casa one?

Thanks in advance mate!

Thx you for your message.

About availability of the API in Australia/Oceania, I haven’t any news. Contact directly the support for your country. Apparently, if you cannot see your covers, it means nothing has changed.

Their is no need now to create an app at developer.somfy.com. You can use the one built-in directly in HA.

Thanks @Etienne. that’s what I was afraid the answer would be :frowning:

I’ll contact the support team anyway…

Cheers!

Hi. Thanks again for this Somfy Integration in HA. I use it for my 8 io roller shutters (with tahoma box) and it works great.
I plan to change my old garage door to a new door equiped with a somfy IO motor. Do you know if garage doors are seen juste like rolller shutters and if it will be able to be managed with HA?

Thanks

Hi, I have a rollixo io motor from somfy but it is not shown from the Somfy API thus it is not showing in HA.

Ok thanks. Does anyone know if Somfy has planed to integrate this kind of motor in their API in the future ?

Hi
My friend has central TAHOMA… and i installed him HASSOS with Hassio. Then i add Tahoma to Home Assistant. On Tahome he has rollershutter, garage door and 2x normal door.
But when add cover and garage door was found but 2x door not found. Why and how i can add it ?

When go to official app Tahoma i see it and works ok.

I would be very interested in the discrete mode function.
when can we expect integration ?
Thanks ! My covers is in Bedroom…

Have you add TAHOMA or SOMFY integration ? TAHOMA is obsolet

I added tahoma integration

We have to find a way to how expose the discrete mode. Currently HA, only support one mode for the cover. I have to check if we can give additional parameters to the open and close service. Otherwis, I will ccreate a new service to do this.

Tahoma component is back since 0.104.

Ok.
Thanks. I didn’t know… I will see that

What is the difference between ? What is the better integration ?

It’s not limited to covers. I can control my garage door and get my light sensor data. Which is quite nice. Just hoping they will integrate more stuff in the future as Somfy isn’t keen on working on its API apparently.

Great, thanks for mentioning that! I rolled back to Tahoma, my awning is working again!

I reverted back to Tahoma too, so many devices and things like scene that the somfy integration doesn’t show.

@arandax @CrazyChaos You can use both components: the official and the tahoma one. In the documentation I explained how to ignore the duplicate devices between integration: https://www.home-assistant.io/integrations/somfy/
I have no clue, but I think it will be a good signal for Somfy if we are more and more to use their API.
