Panasonic PACi / commercial unit — wired controller protocol (2-wire bus) — anyone working on this?

Can you capture the video of the oscilloscope for some minute, while you change some setting on the remote like temperature, fan speed then post on youtube?

Ah I've since learned the Settings menu on my cz-rtc6blw.

My airzone Panasonic communication gateway board also connects to this bus. There can only be 1 main controller and N controllers in sub mode.

Anyone here got a Panasonic Pro Club account?

yes, let me try to do that.

Here you have the video, I don’t see any patterns to be honest, just random signals. Probably I am doing something wrong

@mrcodetastic @dzungpv @seadanzig just in case you can get any helpful hints from this video, thanks!

I don't have answer to what is R1/R2. but I did create esphome component if you manage to convert R1/R2 to WLAN GitHub - rndm2/esphome_panasonic_paci: Open source alternative for Panasonic air condition wifi adapters that works locally without the Comfort Cloud · GitHub

Here is the device itself
Small one is ESP32 inspired by Ingenious Makers P11 - ESPHome Panasonic Climate Interface - ingeniousmakers.com

I may be able to get access. What are you wanting?

it might be, my guess is that the scope’s frequency response is very low so it looks like sine waves instead of square waves.
