Hi,
Is there any way to persist system data between reboots. Specifically i have a multi select i use to track the state of my system, and some device trackers that i use to track home/away that i would really like to persist somewhere between reboots?
Anyone got any pointers?
Thanks
Gareth
Looks like the same kind of request that I did a few weeks back
Seems we’re loosing a lot of states between Reboots
Hi,
I ran into the same problem with pilight and HA. Status is not recoverd after restart HA.
I have no solution.
Maybe we can do a feature request.

The switch_reset app for appdaemon stores states and devices and restores them on startup. Just download appdaemon and it is one of the examples.

Ahah, awesome!
Have been meaning to investigate AppDeamon, I guess this is the perfect opportunity.
Anything that saves me from the hell that is YAML!!!
Thanks
