Poor stability on RasPi 4. How to diagnose?

Hi,

I have HASS running on my RasPi 4 for about 4 years now. I always make an effort to be on the newest OS-Version. Naturally the number of integrations, entities etc. kept growing trough the years but it’s not a crazy large system. I have only 18 Integrations (including stuff like HA-Supervisor and Raspberry Pie) and 10 Automations.

The issue is that UI keeps crashing every few days and only restarting the RasPi (by unplugging the power supply) resolves this. Crashing means that I can still access some version of the UI via browser but not via the app, but the entities don’t refresh, I cannot do updates, change the YAML or options etc.

How could I diagnose what causes this? Maybe it’s time for a Hardware upgrade?

thanks I will view the logs tomorrow. The system was running fine on SSD for some years. The performance issues only started a few weeks ago.

RPI issues are nearly always fixed with a new power supply. Yes, they degrade.

Thanks a lot! I checked the logs and I did not find anything noteworthy, but after replacing the power supply (I re-baught the original one from Amazon) it works fine wor a week already.
