I wonder what is the power consumption of the solution which is based on suggested Raspberry Pi Zero W compared to Arduino + Bluetooth shield? I would opt for solution with can run on batteries…
Thanks in advance for the information.
Will this work only on a PI or is it possible to make it work in a docker container on unraid?
Where I will find the value for mqtt_publisher_identity ?
Is this still a good way to detect presence? or any better options?
I thought I had seen a post about this somewhere, but I can’t find it. I have a problem where on every reboot of hass, my presence is set to not_home
even though my sensor reads 100. How can I avoid this problem?
I have monitor running on Pi Zero W, all configured to track a couple of iBeacons, but I get confidence drops to 0 all the time even though the beacon is just sitting there. Looking at the verbose output - it just quickly goes through something like 80%, 60%, 20% then 0, and then shoots up to 100% again. What’s up with this?
Does anyone periodically restart their Pi 0’s running monitor? Is this considered a good thing to do?
has anyone had any luck monitoring chipolo key fobs or have a guide anywhere for adding them. I have one but cant seem to get it to add.
